Andy Warstar is the creator of Warstars and a solo performing artist. Andy has been playing music since early childhood.
Andy is pictured here at four years of age... About the time he began banging on pots, pans, and empty oatmeal containers in his mother's kitchen.

Andy's aim since 11 years of age was to play music in rock bands. He was classically trained on guitar in high school.
When Andy graduated, he joined Orchidalgia, a punk band from Molalla, OR. Andy began writing his first songs at 18 years of age.
Andy attended his first year of college at University of Idaho. In his 20th year Andy started his second band, The Hinge, with Josh Boyd and Mike Lyles.
After leaving Idaho,
Andy
move to Portland, OR to be with family. Throughout the following years,
Andy jammed with many other bands. Finding none that fit his artistic
vision, Andy decided to start his third and most successful band, Warstars,
after graduation from Southern Oregon University in 1997.
Andy Warstar founded Warstars in 1998. Since that time, Andy has accomplished
much. Andy's intention is to continually create new song material, while
finding time to paint and sculpt. Andy performs live, solo, and with
Warstars, as much as possible.
Andy also continues to release the best of all his recorded material
for free.
